The main benefit to using your existing credit card is that it’s a quick, uncomplicated way to pay for a procedure. It is also a great way to build your credit score; if you make your monthly payments on time.  It is wise to use a credit card with a low interest rate (less than 10% is recommended) and one that offered extra incentives, such as points towards gift cards or travel expenses. You might as well get a little extra while spending a lot!

Applying for a Doctor-Sponsored Payment Plan

Some doctors are willing work out a payment plan with you. This way, you do not have to pay the total cost upfront or finance using a credit card with a monthly interest rate.There is usually no interest on doctor-sponsored payment plans. Most doctors are flexible and willing to create a plan that works for your specific needs. The main negative to this option is that unpaid loans can still go to collection agencies, which can damage your credit score is not resolved.
