What Is MIRApeel™?
The fancy name may be misleading and make it sound complicated, but what MIRApeel™ does is skin resurfacing. It has all the benefits of a light chemical peel and dermabrasion all in one package. The secret is combining two separate features to make one outstanding result. The MIRApeel™ uses “wet abrasion” technology and microneedling to give it its signature results.
How MIRApeel™ Works
The first part of the treatment involves the outer layers of the skin, which are gently and safely removed with a specially designed instrument. Each treatment style is different depending on the type of skin issues the patient has, so results can be mild to mildly abrasive. During the removal process, the skin is infused with serums.
The second part of the treatments involves something called “wet micro-protrusion,” which sounds scarier than it actually is. This involves little needles being rolled across the skin to inject it with our specially formulated serums. This is very similar to microneedling.
The last part of the MIRApeel™ process involves two separate LED lights. The use of lights allows the skin to calm down. This also allows us time to put on a bio-cellulose face and décolleté mask to help soothe the skin.
