How Involved is the Restylane® Silk Procedure?
The Restylane® Silk treatment process is fast, safe, and effective. The treatment is performed in our office, takes less than one hour, and involves an injection of the gel into the lips or surrounding area using a very fine needle.
A topical numbing agent can be applied to the treatment area prior to the injections. Restylane® Silk also contains lidocaine to further increase your comfort during your treatment. You should avoid massage and dental work for two weeks after your treatment.
How Long is the Recovery Period Following Restylane® Silk Treatment?
